During the events, Brandon Hall’s Chief Strategy Officer Michael Rochelle will present his firm’s research on talent trends and offer advice on executing successful talent management strategies. Steve Parker, SumTotal’s vice president of solutions, will share best practices based on his experience as a former HR executive for designing HR strategies, identifying and deploying HR processes and selecting HR technologies. Each breakfast will also feature a SumTotal customer or partner who will share specific experiences and advice for implementing and evolving talent management within their organizations.

“We created this Talent Expansion Tour to tackle the primary challenge HR and Learning professionals struggle with today: helping people get better at their jobs while they are doing them,” said SumTotal Chief Marketing Officer Holly Rollo. “HCM systems are falling short in delivering on the promise of employee engagement because they are fundamentally designed to treat employees as transactions, not as people. Automating workflows and recording what employees have done does help employees get better at their jobs. Talent Expansion, on the other hand, is integrated, contextual, pervasive and employee-centered. With Talent Expansion, relevant learning and training activities are embedded directly into and accessible from the applications employees work in every day.”
